Privacy Policy

Sellvue (“Sellvue”, “we”, “us”) provides an e-commerce platform for independent sellers, consisting of the web dashboard at app.sellvue.in, seller storefront pages, and the Sellvue mobile app for Android and iOS (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who this policy covers
- Sellers — business owners who create a Sellvue account to run their store.
- Buyers — customers who purchase from a seller’s Sellvue storefront.
Information we collect
Account information (sellers). When you create a Sellvue account we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form), or your Google / Apple account identifier if you sign in with those providers. We also collect the business details you provide: store name, logo, address, GSTIN, and payment/shipping configuration.
Order and buyer information. When a buyer places an order on a seller’s storefront, we collect the details needed to fulfil it: name, phone number, email address, delivery address, items ordered, and payment method. We process this information on behalf of the seller to provide order management, shipping, invoicing, and analytics.
Usage information. We collect events about how storefronts and campaigns are used (page visits, cart activity, checkout progress) to provide sellers with analytics. We collect device push-notification tokens from the mobile app so we can deliver order and shipping alerts.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos (except images a seller chooses to upload), or advertising identifiers. The Service contains no third-party advertising.
How we use information
- To operate the Service: order processing, shipment tracking, invoice generation, campaign analytics, and push notifications.
- To secure the Service and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To communicate with sellers about their account and subscription.
- To comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements (e.g. GST invoicing).
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We share information only with processors necessary to run the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications.
- Payment gateways (Razorpay, PhonePe) — payment processing for buyer orders and seller subscriptions. Card/UPI details are processed by the gateway and never stored by Sellvue.
- Shipping partners (e.g. Shiprocket, NimbusPost, Delhivery) — shipment booking and tracking, which requires sharing the delivery name, phone number, and address.
Each provider processes data only to provide its service to us.
Data retention
Seller account data is retained while the account is active. Order, invoice, and credit-note records are retained as required by Indian tax law. Analytics events are retained to provide historical reporting to sellers.
Your rights and choices
- Sellers can access and update their account and store information from the web dashboard, and can request account deletion by writing to us at the address below. On deletion we remove personal data except records we are legally required to keep.
- Buyers may contact the seller they purchased from, or write to us directly, to request access to or deletion of their personal information.
- Push notifications can be disabled at any time in your device settings.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls, including row-level security that restricts each seller’s data to their own account. Authentication tokens on the mobile app are stored in the device’s secure keychain/keystore.
Children
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the web dashboard, and the effective date above will be updated.
